Welcome to the Community Home Trust family. As a homeowner, you are entitled to all the rights and privileges that come with home ownership. As a Community Home Trust homeowner, you have a partner to help you make good decisions about matters affecting your home. This is a partnership with benefits for all.
The Home Trust employs a certified Property/Community Association Manager and an Asset Maintenance Specialist to help our homeowners with questions and concerns they have regarding proper repair and maintenance of Home Trust homes, questions about Homeowner Associations, and other matters related to home ownership. Here are some of the programs and support services available to Home Trust homeowners:
Community Association Management: The Home Trust currently manages three developments of the Home Trust, Greenway Condominiums, Rosemary Place Townhomes, and Legion Road Townhomes.
Stewardship Program: This program helps homeowners save for replacement of selected large items (i.e. HVAC systems, water heaters, etc.). If you purchased your home after March 2007, you are a participant in this program, which can help pay for covered items.
Approved Vendor List: Not sure who to call when your air conditioner is acting up? The Home Trust maintains a list of approved vendors for our homeowners’ convenience. These vendors are insured, and the Home Trust has inspected the quality of their work before approving their addition to our approved vendor list. Community Owner Associations: Many of our homeowners belong to Homeowner Associations. These Associations collect monthly fees to pay for maintenance and repairs on common areas as outlined in their covenants. These covenants also clarify what is expected of homeowners within the Association regarding personal conduct and the appearance of their homes.
Revaluation and Taxes: Home Trust homes are revalued every four years for tax purposes. The Home Trust Property Manager reviews all tax bills for accuracy and resolves questions related to property taxes or property values.
Emergency Loan Program and Support Services: For homeowners who find themselves in financial distress, the Home Trust provides counseling and lists to other support services.
